About the Fish We Chase / Bass
Next to trout, bass are the second most common freshwater fish targeted by fly fishers. Because of their ability to live and thrive in warmer water than trout, bass are much more widely distributed across the US than are trout. Bass are also generally considered to be easier to catch than trout due to their much more aggressive nature. It would be a mistake to say they are easy to catch but once you find where they are, hooking them is relatively easy.
