David Lambroughton is from California and was taught to tie flies by the Late/Great Bob Quigley. After college he starting guiding on Fall River in 1976 with Bob Quigley and then onto Alaska for Bristol Bay Lodge, then the Deschutes River for the Kaufmanns, then 5 summers based out of West Yellowstone and fully immigrating to B.C. in 1984 and finishing his guiding days on the Skeena System for Steelhead and the the B.C. Rockies for Cutthroat. Since the mid 80’s his focus was  photography and he has published his Fly Fishing Dreams Calendar for over 35 years and has done lots of exploring all over the world for travel companies like Frontiers and others and lead some groups. He splits his year between B.C. and New Zealand and just finished his 40th N.Z. Trout Season this past March. Check him out on Instagram and see wonderful images from his travels.
